H Frame - Base Model - Ideal starting point for larger canvases.
This base model H frame is a good starting point for a full sized "H " frame. Lighter construction than my model HB with simpler side clamps. Castors are an extra cost option. Holds a painting up to 1650 mm deep. Tilts backward and forward, and can be provided with a two piece centre shaft which extends the height up to 2.4 metres. High sides give great support to canvases and boards. Folds flat for transport and storage. Front of easel does not foul your feet when painting.

Model HIH1800 $320 made from oiled Victorian Ash Hardwood, with River Redgum Knobs. Normally sold partially assembled, although can be collected from Mt Eliza fully assembled and I will also deliver fully assembled to Melbourne bayside suburbs up to Elwood. Please ask about this. Optional longer centre shaft $15, comes in 2 pieces.

Optional Castors, front locking, $25 per set. Optional Wedge Bottom Mount $25 please note the top mount is a wedge mount as standard with a depth of 20mm. if you want a deeper top mount for double canvases it will be another $20
Optional Tray in MDF and Hardwood $80, side wings or palette holders $20 each in MDF. Please note MDF tray is not suitable if you are using water colours. (MDF is Medium Density Fibreboard) If you order a tray you will receive a separate bottom mount.

Width of upright section, side to side, 580mm, height of sides 1700 mm, add 60 mm for castors.
Tilt approximately 4 degrees towards you and 10 degrees back, infinitely adjustable, twin locking knobs.
Bottom mount goes down to the lower cross piece on the upright section, infinitely adjustable with two locking knobs. Top lowers to meet bottom mount.
Weight about 15 kilograms.
